Stop fronting the ice cost.
Carve splits it across every family, to the penny.
The booking-and-billing app for coaches who run private and semi-private ice. Auto-split the sheet across each family, collect prepaid packs and e-Transfers, and get paid the same day you skate. No napkin math, no 7 AM “did you send it?” texts.
Free while in beta· no credit card · CAD & Interac-friendly
The split you'd otherwise redo by hand every skate, done the second the group changes.
It's 7 AM. You're doing math in your Notes app.
Four families on one sheet of ice. One paid a pack, two e-Transferred, one forgot again. You fronted the $250 rink bill weeks ago. Booking apps don't split it, team platforms weren't built for a solo coach, and the spreadsheet never survives a last-minute cancel.
Carve was built for exactly this.
Set the ice once, Carve runs the loop
Every skate: split, collect, reconcile. No spreadsheet in sight.
- 1Book the iceRink, time, ice cost, your fee. Once.
- 2Auto-splitIce ÷ the group + your fee. Each family sees their share.
- 3CollectPacks auto-deduct; e-Transfers and cash tracked in a tap.
- 4ReconcileSee who's paid, who's due. Nudge the one unpaid family.
Four things, done for you every skate
The billing loop a booking app or a team platform never built for a solo coach.
Auto-split billing
Ice divides across the group and your fee adds on, so each family sees only their exact share. It recalculates the instant a skater joins or drops. No napkin, no spreadsheet, no float drift.
The split you'd otherwise redo by hand every skate, done the second the group changes.
Prepaid packs & e-Transfer
Parents load a dollar-value wallet and every session auto-deducts. Prefer Interac? Track e-Transfers and cash with one tap. Carve does the ledger, you keep the payment.
Progress recaps parents love
Tap a few scores and a note rink-side. Each family gets a private page with their kid's progress and a video clip. It's the reason families re-enrol, and it runs itself.
A booking page that fills itself
Share one link. Parents request open spots, a full session builds a waitlist, and a freed seat is auto-offered to the next family. Syncs two-way with Google Calendar.
Run it like a business, not a side hustle
The numbers a solo coach never has time to pull, done for you every week.

Questions coaches ask
Straight answers on money, taxes, and what parents actually have to do.
Do parents need to download an app?
No. Parents get a private web link for booking, their kid's progress, receipts, and paying. Nothing to install.
Do you touch my money?
No. Families pay you directly by Interac e-Transfer or cash, and Carve just does the split math and tracks who's paid. Card payments, when you enable them, run through Stripe into your own account. Carve never holds your funds.
What if a skater cancels last-minute? Does the split recalculate?
Yes, automatically. Mark them absent or late-cancel and every remaining family's share updates instantly, with your cancellation-fee policy applied.
Is it built for hockey or figure skating?
Both. Pick your sport at setup and Carve tailors the skill metrics, sub-types, and waiver language to hockey or figure skating.
Does it handle Canadian taxes?
Yes. GST/HST receipts for parents, annual per-family statements, and CAD penny-accurate math throughout. Built for the Canadian rink.
What does it cost?
Nothing right now. Carve is free while it's in beta, through the official launch in September / October 2026. Paid plans start at launch, and Carve will always be a flat fee, never a percentage of what parents pay you.
Get your Sundays back.
Set up your rink and rates in minutes, share your booking link, and let Carve handle the split, the packs, and the recaps.
