Calendar & Google Calendar sync

Month view, two-way sync, and the iCal feed.

The Carve calendar

The Calendar tab is a month view of all your sessions:

  • Tap a day to add a session there (opens Book ice with the date prefilled).
  • Tap a session to open it.
  • Sessions with an unpaid family show red; settled sessions show green.

Two-way Google Calendar sync

Settings → Google Calendar connects your Google account (requires setup — see SETUP_GOOGLE.md). Once connected:

  • Your Carve sessions mirror into your Google Calendar (create/edit/cancel all sync).
  • Your Google busy days show as a marker on the Carve calendar, so you spot conflicts.
  • Book ice warns live if the time you're typing overlaps a Google busy block — before you create the session.

iCal feed (no Google setup)

A one-way calendar feed (Settings → Booking page → calendar URL) lets you subscribe to your Carve sessions in any calendar app (Apple Calendar, Outlook, whatever) without the Google OAuth setup. It's read-only: sessions appear, but changes flow one way (Carve → your calendar).

Which should I use?

Want Use
Sessions to appear in another calendar app, zero setup iCal feed
Conflict warnings + edits syncing both ways Google Calendar sync
