Getting started
Sign up, onboarding, and your first roster.
Everything you need to go from a fresh account to your first logged skate.
1. Sign up
Go to /signup and enter your name, email, and a password. If you ever forget it,
"Forgot password?" on the sign-in page emails you a reset link that's good for 30
minutes (setting a new password signs you out everywhere).
2. Onboarding (five quick steps)
- Your sport — hockey or figure skating. This sets your default disciplines, skill fields, and waiver text. Everything stays editable later. See Hockey vs figure skating.
- Your home rink — name, city, ice cost per hour. See Rinks.
- Your rates — fee model (per skater or flat), your fee, what you mostly coach.
- Cancellation policy — your free-cancel window and what a late cancel does.
- Theme — pick your look.
You land on This week, your home dashboard.
3. Add your roster
Go to Families → + Add a family: family name, parent contact, and their skater(s). Siblings go on one family. You don't have to do this up front — families are also created automatically when you add skaters to ice or confirm a booking request. See Families & CRM.
4. Your first cycle
Follow The Carve workflow: book the ice, run the skate, log it, collect what's due, and let the family see the progress.
