Earnings & tax

Your books, the GST tracker, and a T2125 CSV.

The Earnings tab is your business's books, kept automatically — cash collected against ice booked, plus the tax tools a Canadian coach actually needs.

The dashboard

  • This month / year-to-date / trailing 12 months — cash collected (packs, cards, e-Transfers) against the ice you booked, with the net.
  • Month by month — collected, ice booked, net per month.
  • Ice spend by rink — where your money goes.

GST/HST small-supplier tracker

The CRA requires you to register for GST/HST once you collect $30,000 in any trailing 12 months. Carve shows a progress bar toward that threshold so it never surprises you. When you register, add your number in Settings → Business & tax and receipts start breaking out the tax automatically.

CSV for your accountant

Download CSV exports the year's income (with payment method) and ice costs in one file, ready for a T2125. Hand it to your accountant, or import it — no rebuilding your books from texts and e-Transfer confirmations.

Cash basis

Earnings counts money when it's collected, not when a session was booked — it mirrors how you're actually taxed. (For margin analysis that includes what's still owed, see Profitability & economics.)
